In his absence, his master Shaikh Nizamuddin Auliya died in Delhi. The mourning could not bear the rich food and within 6 months of returning to Delhi, Khusro also ended its history in 1325 AD. The mausoleum of Khusra was made near Sheikh’s tomb.

Sheikh Nizamuddin Auliya was the great Sufi saint of the Afghan-ege. Ameer Khusro had become his disciple since eight years of age, and possibly by the inspiration of the Guru, he started poetry-meditation. It was the influence of the guru that even though living between the splendor of the royal court, the Khusrao became a mystical Sufi saint by heart. Khusro has done Yogogany with the free knot of his master and in his memoirs he remembered them before the emperor.

Nizamuddin Aulia gave the title of Turklah to Amir Khusro.

In history Amir Khusro is known as Tuti-e-Hind. He himself has said- “I am the pot of Hindustan. If you really want to know me then ask in Hindavi. I can tell you unique things.”

Amir Khusro Ghiyasuddin was the court poet of Tuglaq. Sultan wanted Khusro but hated Nijamuddin Auliya’s name. Amir Khusro did not like the same thing of Ghiyasuddin Tughlaq. Once the king was returning to Delhi from a distance, Sultan told Khusro that he should go ahead and send the message before that the emperor should leave Delhi before he arrives in Delhi. Khusro was suffering a lot , But said this message to his saints and asked what will happen now?

Nothing wrong! You do not panic. Do not worry. Hanuj Delhi away – that is, Delhi is far away. It was really unachievable for the king. On the way, at the time of a halt, in the house where he was staying, it broke down after a terrible storm and consequently he died. From then on, the saying is “Delhi is far away” first came in the poetry of Khusra and then became popular in Hindi.

Rich Khusro had gone somewhere outside of Delhi, and at the same time, he got news of the death of his wife, Nizamuddin Auliya. They were very sad when they heard this news and screamed at their dead body. After the death of Nizamuddin Auliya, they became so unhappy that they gave up all the world’s temptations and donated wealth, After wearing black clothes, going to the tomb of his peer, he decided to never wake up. They sat there and started immersing themselves. After a few days, after being completely immersed, the life of Khusro was extinguished.
