In many tests about Akbar’s military operations, it is asked, here we have told all the campaigns in sequence. Which are the following:

  1. First Campaign (1561 AD) – This campaign was the campaign of Malwa. At this time, the ruler of this city was as the Bazbahhadur. And on behalf of the Mughal army, this campaign was led by Abdam Khan, Peer Muhammad Abdullah Khan Ubaze. In this campaign Bajabahadur was defeated.

At this time the ruler of this city was Uday Singh.                                                                                                                                             Battle of Haldighati (1576 AD) – Asaf Khan and Mansingh led the campaign against Rana Maharana Pratap.                                                                                                                                               Ranthambore (1569 AD) – This campaign was done by Akbar and commander Lord Devas against King Surjanrai Hada.                                                                                                                   Callinger (1569 AD) – This campaign was against Mughal general Majanu Khan, ruler of Kalinjar, against Ram Chandra.                                                                                                                                  Marwar (1570 AD) – ruler Chandrasena (son of Maldeva), ruler of Marwān voluntarily accepted Akbar’s submission.                                                                                                                                Jaisalmer (1570 AD) – Ruler Hararai here voluntarily accepted Akbar’s submission. Bikaner (1570 AD) – ruler Rai Kalyanmal had voluntarily accepted the submission of Akbar.
  5. Fifth Campaign (1571 AD) – This was the campaign of Gujarat, at this time the ruler of this region was Muzaffarhaan III. This campaign was led by Mughal senapati khan azam (Mirza Aziz Koka). The second campaign on Gujarat followed by 1572 AD. Akbar had himself against Mirza Hussain Mirza in

  9. Ninth campaign (1591 AD) – The ruler of Sindh, Jani Beg defeated the Mughal general Abdulrahim Khan Khan.
  10. Tenth campaign (1590-91E) – Nisar Khan, ruler of Orissa, was defeated by Mughal general Mansingh.
  11. Eleventh Campaign (1595 AD) – ruler Foal of Balochistan was defeated by Mughal general Mir Maasoom.
  12. Twelth Campaign (1595 AD) – Sasak Muzaffar Hussein of Kandahar voluntarily handed the fort to the Mughal subedar Shahweg.
  13. Campaign of South – The purpose of the campaign was to:
  • Establishment of an All-India Empire
  • Pulling the Portuguese back to the sea.

The following were the campaigns of South Vijay:

  • Khandesh (1591 AD) – The Khasand Khan of Khandesh voluntarily accepted Akbar’s submission.
  • Ahmadnagar (1597-1600E) – Bahadur Nizam Shah of Ahmadnagar (Chand Bibi protectorate) defeated Shahjada Murad, Abdurrahim Khankhana.
  • Asirgarh Fort(1601 AD) – Mir Bahadur was defeated and it was the last victory of Akbar.
