Parsvnath was born in 23rd Tirthankara of Jain religion in Varanasi. His father’s name was Ashvaseen and mother’s name was Vamdevi. King Ashwesen was the king of Varanasi.

  • According to Jain Puranas, to become a Tirthankar, Parshnath had to perform nine births. As a result of the accumulated virtues of the previous birth and the tenure of the 10th birth, he became the 23rd Tirthankar.
  • According to the followers of Digambar Dharma, Parsvnath was a Brahmachari, while Shvetambara supported his talk according to the followers of the followers, but the other does not do any caste and believes Parshvanath as a married.
  • Parsvnath’s childhood went into a royal palace At the age of 16, he was visiting the forest one day, when his vision was on a friar, who was attacking a tree with ax. Seeing such a scenario, Parshvanath suddenly screamed and said, “Stop, do not kill those invisible creatures.” That gentleman’s name was Mahipal.
  • Mahipal had become a sadhu in the grief of his wife’s death. He looked at Parshvanath from anger and said, “Who is killing me? I do not see, I am cutting the logs for the tenacity.”
  • Parshvanath said in a distressed voice – but that tree is the symbol of Nag-Nagin. Mahipal said disdainfully- “Do you have a trio?” And again started blaming the tree. Only then, the blood-drawn Nag-Nagan joga came out, screaming with the scratched stem of the tree.
  • Once the angry Mahipal was scared to see them, but then he began to laugh at all. Even Parshvanath gave Nagaprane a mantra, which caused his death to calm down and in the next life, Indra-Indrani, Dharanendra and Padmavati were built in the next birth and Posthumously born as the evil god named Mahipal Sambar.
  • Parsvnath got annoyed with the life and death of the world due to this incident. They are determined to do something that can be freed from life and death forever.
  • When he was 30 years old, many kings presented gifts on his birthday. When the messengers of Ayodhya started giving gifts, Parshvanath asked him about the glory of Ayodhya.
    He said, “In the town where five holy pilgrims like Rishabhdev, Ajit Nath, Abhinandan Nath, Sumit Nath, Anantat Nath have taken birth, what is the glory of his glory?” There is a pag-2 virtuous scattered here.
    Upon hearing this, Parsvnath remembered his previous nine births and started thinking that he had lost so many births like this. Now they should take the action of aptitude. And they took initiation from the same day and started practicing in many forests.

Parsvnath adds four Mahavrut (truth, unseen, non-violence, non-violence) in Jainism.
On the day of Chaitra Krishna, he received Kavalya knowledge and became a pilgrim. They lived for 100 years. He propagated Jainism and received Kavalya on Sammand Mountain on Shravan Shukla Saptami.
