According to Jainism, knowledge is the quality of the soul. The soul is knowledgeable, it is knowledgeful. Knowledge and knowledge are considered different. Knowledge is divided into 5 parts.

  1. Mati gñāna
  2. Sruti gyan
  3. Avdi gyan
  4. manahparyaay gyaan
  5. Kaivalya knowledge
  1. Mati gyān-The knowledge of the meaning of the mind and the senses of the senses means that knowledge-generated knowledge
  2. Sruti gyan-Hearing aid Knowledge of the meaning of knowledge and wisdom through the mind and the senses is called after listening to the interpretation and meaning of the knowledge of earlier knowledge, that knowledge is called Shruti gyan.
  3. Avdi gyan-Without knowledge of the mind and the senses, the knowledge that gives information about the tangible substances from the power to the absolute limit-bound extent without the help of the senses. We can also call it Divine Knowledge.
  4. manahparyaay gyaan –Knowledge of other people’s brains
  5. Kaivalya Knowledge-Full knowledge (Knowledge attained by Jrithi and Jitendra) Perfect pure, complete and infinite wisdom which has no cover. Without the help of the mind and the senses, the knowledge of knowing all the tangible and intangible substances and emotions of the three people.
